Toddler and Newborn Photoshoots

Updated: May 25, 2020

You know how in any job you love to be set a challenge to keep things fresh. When I get a booking for a newborn with their older sibling... I see it as just that.

The tantrums, spilt juice, accidental smacks in my face and snotty noses... bring it on!

Newborn and sibling photography doesn't have to be stressful but it has to be chaotic... and that's OK. Don't let it put you off or think your child is any more of a handful than the next. I have seen it all, heard it all and felt it all!

Put your feet up... I am your non-judgemental babysitter for the day!

I make the photoshoots super fun, the eldest is involved and kept entertained throughout. There will be bubble popping, lots of snacks, helping me take the photos with their own special big brother/ sister camera, sat on their big brother/ sister stool, puzzles, building blocks, balloons and more!

A well practiced routine = happy babies!

As soon as you walk through the door I will be analyzing how I need to approach the photoshoot. If your little one is shy or can find new situations a little overwhelming I have a couple of techniques up my sleeve to help them adjust to the new environment.

I start the session with a consultation to find out what is most important to you and your likes/ dislikes. Then I will put together a plan that will help to keep your toddler entertained and help to keep your new baby soothed and relaxed (and you're well hydrated with cups of teas and coffees.
