I decided to create a page on my website that is totally devoted to weddings at Bolton Abbey because I just love it SO much. Bolton Abbey in Wharfdale, North Yorkshire stole my heart around 20 years ago. I spent many of my childhood years having picnics near the river, paddling and crossing the stepping stones, walks in all seasons and believe it or not, its actually the first place I took photos of when I got my first camera. As I still live a 30 minute drive away I am always returning... for weddings and paddling in the river.

Summer 2019 will always have a place in my heart. Since the Tithe Barns opened their doors at the end of 2018 I have been listed on their wedding directory - which is a dream come true and has helped me meet so many lovely couples who threw awesome weddings at the barns, some with ceremonies at the stunning Priory Church.

 

The Bolton Abbey Estate is a dream location for a wedding photographer. There are so many photo opportunities! Every aspect of this location takes your breath away. From the contrast of the cosy barn, to the stunning countryside literally on the doorstep. Its more of a challenge to not take a nice photo!
