York Wedding Photography | Olivia and Adam
As soon as I arrived at Olivia's house in the morning I knew I was in for a very good day. The girls were so welcoming and we were all constantly in hysterics. I actually forgot to take photos for a moment whilst eating a home baked 'Croissant'...as they called it.
Adam wins the most romantic gesture I have yet witnessed at a wedding. He had painted a huge blue French Horn and delivered to the house with a note saying 'I would of stolen you a whole orchestra' (a scene from How I Met Your Mother). Which obviously made Olivia want to cry every time she tried telling the reasoning behind it.
I then drove a short while to Aldwark Manor, in York for the rest of the day. The ceremony was beautiful, and exactly as you would dream it. You could just tell they were totally meant to be and the whole room knew it too. After the tears were wiped, the rain stopped and we found everyone again we headed outside to do some photos.
The dresses were such a beautiful green which weirdly enough matched the colour of the paint work around the back of the venue (so I obviously had to make the most of that!).
One of my least and favourite moments was trying to organise everyone for the sparkler shot... but it was worth it!! They finished the day with the most amazing firework display. It was definitely a day I'll never forget!
Olivia and Adam - thank you again for having me I hope you both enjoy looking at your photos, forever!!
