Answers to your Questions

We aren’t really comfortable in front of the camera and don’t want to feel like we are being posed!

This is completely fine, and more common than you probably think! I don’t like fake reactions in photos and overly posed formal shots either. How I work is to just be there, to watch and to anticipate those moments that you actually want to see in your photographs. I have learned how to observe people and to capture the reactions that are really going to make you smile when you see the photos after! There will be times when you won’t even notice that I am taking your photo. I will do a small bit of directing but it will be very relaxed, the aim being for you to react naturally, be comfortable and have fun! After all, it is your wedding day and you want to enjoy your time, not end up feeling stressed about the photos.

How many photos do we get?

I don't set a limit on the number of photo's you'll get, on average you should expect between 600-800 from a full days wedding shoot.

Will we get all of the photos?

You will of course get all of the important images but it is part of the service that you hire me for, to go through and select, edit, or exclude photos so you have an easier time printing and sharing.

Will your photos have your logo on them?

No - your photos will be watermark free, so you can make prints for personal use. To use the photos for advertising or in competitions please ask for permission first (see the T&Cs for more info).

Can I give you a list of photos for you to capture on the day?

Please note that each and every photographer has their own style so I may not always be able to replicate images you find on the web. Hopefully you will choose me because you like my style and you trust my ability to deliver you photos that you will love! I will ask you before your wedding for any photo requests to ensure I capture (such as your theme, a certain family member etc.).

How soon after the wedding do we get our images?

I try to get your photos ready as soon as possible - no longer than two months after your wedding day (but almost always sooner!).

What is an engagement/pre wedding shoot?

It's a chance for you to get used to being in front of the camera, if you're camera shy. It’s a chance to get some lovely, relaxed photos of the two of you, and if you have children you can include them in the shoot and make it a real family experience. There’s no pressure with this shoot, its a very relaxed and fun experience. We can shoot at your favourite place or choose to do something that’s special to the two of you. You can then choose to use them for a save the date card, wedding invitation or a guest book etc. Take a look at some engagement shoots here.
