Graham and Sallys Wedding Day | Stirk House, Clitheroe | Lancashire Wedding Photography
Sally and Graham (the new Mr and Mrs Smith) got married at the beautiful Stirk House in Clitheroe, Lancashire. The newly decorated venue looked beautiful in March, and they were super lucky to not have any snow (the beast from the East had just passed!).
The day started in the pretty bridal suite where I took lots of photos of the bride, her bridesmaids and Mum getting ready (plus of the beautiful dresses, shoes and jewellery). The hair was done beautifully by Danielle Riley and make up to perfection by Emily Guy. I also sneaked off to get a couple of shots of the boys getting ready down the hall way in their room (which matched their suits!). When Sally was in her dress (wedding dress by Ava Rose Hamilton) her Dad walked in and she literally took his breath away, he ran over to her and gave her a big cuddle. Her little boy followed and looked as though he was going to cry (see the images below!).
Nervously the groom and his best man was awaiting at the alter, we all made our way down where the guests were eagerly waiting. Sally's bridesmaids led the way then the page boy (their son) and the flower girl made their entrance, holding a sign which read 'Daddy here comes Mummy' (so cute!). The ceremony was lovely but was over all too quick, they had their first kiss as Mr and Mrs, a glass of champagne and everyone went outside to throw confetti. Dave, the wedding coordinator at Stirk House went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.
Soon after it was my favourite part of the day... photo time! As well as taking photos of the bridal party and the guests, I also used this time to potter around the venue to take photos of the guests enjoying the canapes and of the decor, tables, cake, venue etc. (decor by Creative Events and flowers by Sam Williams).
The guests sat down and enjoyed a wonderful three course dinner (as did I - thank you again!). Sally's Dad, the groom and best man all made a speech, and Sally introduced everyone to a new game to get the party started... after all of the food and dancing we went outside to get a quick photo by THE tree, next to the fairy lights in the Orangery and then lit some sparklers. The photos turned out wonderfully and on that note, I'll leave you to take a look at them...
