rogerthorpe manor | pontefract | Becky and Joe's wedding
The day started in the stunning bridal suite at Rogerthorpe Manor. Little Esme gave me a huge big toothy grin when I arrived (as she did all day long!), I found it difficult to stop myself from getting too carried away photographing her. Becky had her hair and make up done by the lovely Emily Almond. A few tears were shed by her Mum, which was no surprise as Becky looked amazing! She even made her bridesmaids cry a little when she revealed her dress (by Louise Perry Bridal, Saltaire designed by Demetrios). I love being part of the preparations because I feel like I really get to know all the bridesmaids before the day.
Joe was waiting patiently at the alter at Hooton Pagnell Church, Doncaster... whilst Becky's Mum found a parking space. I took the opportunity to get a couple of snaps of the groomsmen and Bridesmaids before they were ready to enter the church. The ceremony was beautiful and exactly how you would want your church service to go (the church was full of smiles).
After the first kiss everyone gathered outside for the confetti shot and some family photos we then drove a short while to Rogerthorpe Manor. The staff were amazing and had everything ready when we arrived... even a red carpet rolled out! The wedding breakfast room looked beautiful, the center pieces dominated the room which looked really elegant... and I loved the flowers by Mel at Passion Flowers and the cake by Michelle Felix. Outside the magician, Jordan O'Grady, wowed the guests with his amazing acts. Oh and the Ice Cream van (Graham A-taste-of-Italy) was super popular (me being the number one fan!).
After they were fed I managed to get a bit of time with them for some family photos with Esme and the two of them. I especially loved the bit where they started to dance... They are just such a lovely couple and I adore these photos!
