Left bank Wedding Leeds
The morning started with lots of fun - jumping on the trampoline, playing in the water, picking flowers and hanging out with Reggie (the dog) who was clearly super excited for the wedding (unfortunately he wasn't invited to the ceremony bit though). Meanwhile, Becca got ready for what was going to be a beautiful day...
The ceremony was at the lovely St Chad's Church in Headingly which is a beautiful old church with stunning architecture. The service was all over too soon so we headed outside in the sunshine for the confetti shot and group photos. The guests then all headed to the reception venue (The Left Bank, Leeds) and we stayed in the church grounds to get a couple of extra snaps of Luke and Becca. It was then that I could tell they are totally made for each other.
The Left Bank is probably one of my most favourite venues. From the outside (let's be honest) it doesn't seem like much... however as soon as you walk through the doors you are presented with this amazing open space, its gothic style meets new mondern decor, it is perfectly decorated to create the most impressive wedding venue (see pics below). Left Bank Leeds is a Grade ll* listed former church in Headingly, Leeds. It's history and location make it so interesting and unique.
I took full advantage of this stunning venue and took photos literally from every angle.. I even climbed up through a pitch black narrow tower (not easy with two cameras on your hips!) to get to a balcony for the E P I C first dance/ sparkler shot/ confetti bomb shot.
I felt so privileged to be able to capture Luke and Becca's wedding. The whole day from the start to the end was simply wonderful - 10/10 on your organisation skills guys!
Me and Luke are old neighbours and we also went to school together so I really enjoyed the reunion! I have to say you both have such lovely families and friends, thank you all for making me so welcome... oh and thank you for moving the car that was blocking me in!! :)
